Ok, so I happened to run into Dan on Skype today. Didn't have much time to chat, as I was still at work trying to finish up something before I could leave for the day, but talking to him "live" was pretty fun. I know you can post back and forth on Jaiku, but somehow, live chat like IM or IRC or similar just has a different "feel" to it.

Then the thought hit me like a ton of bricks. Why not create a Feeble Force IRC channel? So I did.

Don't worry, we're NOT on one of those big networks like Efnet or Undernet, so you won't have dirty old men bombarding you with cybersex requests every 1.25566 seconds or anything like that. Just a small, friendly little net, who already happens to have some of our Feeble Force members on it already. You see, I happen to know the owner of this little net, he and I go way back, we've been through a lot together, his name is dburr... yes I am speaking of myself in the third person, scary no?

Anyway, to join in the fun, point your IRC client to IRC.BorgChat.Net port 6667. We have Nickserv, Chanserv, etc. so you can register your nicks and lock down your identity and such. Our channel is, naturally, #feebleforce, so either set that channel as an auto-join channel in your irc client, or just type /join #feebleforce.

Don't have (or want to install) an irc client on your computer? No problem. I have set up a web chat (does NOT require any special plugins, Flash, etc., so it will work on most any web browser including many mobile browsers like Nokia 770/N800/iPhone/etc.).
