OTB 9: Always Ready To Ramble
Tagged:

This week I've taken over (Dan) the OTB mansion while Anna is away in Spain and I'm putting my feet up on the couch, leaving the toilet seat up and generally doing whatever I want, I'm such a rebel muwahahaha. I also get the honour of writing the show notes... having said that I don't have a lot to say, dammit. We recorded this show last week before Anna left so the transfer news may not be 100% fresh but I don't think it'll give you food poisoning either. We rant about things as important as Scolari's plan for British football (oh dear), Queiroz escape from British football, why Rafa has a headache and why Luton are going down not only for being the most boring place in the country.

The rant:
Luiz Felipe Scolari hopes to revive the England national side by improving the quality of Chelsea youngsters - oh we cannot wait! yawn

Some of the biggest names in football join forces for a new campaign to raise millions of dollars ahead of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. If you feel like helping out, you can donate some money here: http://www.goal4africa.org/DonateOnce.aspx

with or without 6+5 there's already a rule that gives some managers (ie Rafa Benitez) headache, namely the 2006 Uefa ruling that required clubs to register 2 club trained and 2 domestic association trained players each squad, that was increased to 3 of each last season and this season it becomes 4.

There's some talk of
a massive corruption investigation in the English leagues - but nobody knows details.

Ronaldo agrees he is a 'slave' at Man United... seriously, go to hell.

Some more 20 mil deals, this time Tottenham's Berbatov supposedly moves to Man United. How are this prices decided??

So that's it for another OTB, as always please send us you feedback to football@feebleforce.com with any thoughts or suggestions for the show or the new site we're planning. I'll be back next week with another canned OTB while Anna is away but this one will be special as we got to record it together in the same room. Imagine that and while the recording may be canned the banter is always fresh ch-ching. So take care till then and we'll catch you next time ;)
