All this and more inside....

1. Woman Sues Her Drug Dealer For Bad Meth
First up we discussed a story I found this week of a Canadian woman who has sucessfully managed to sue here drug dealer for selling her crystal meth while apparently knowing it could cause heart problems. WTF??!! The woman had a heart attack and now has a ongoing heart condition but still what's next, brewer sewed for knowingly selling beer that could make people drunk? Come on!!

2. Polish Man Discovers Wife Working At Brothel
This is a crazy story Kevan brought us. Apparently a Polish couple are getting divorced after the husband took a trip to a nearby brothel and discovered one of the ladies there was his wife. It's not clear whether he's divorcing her for this or she's divorcing him for soliciting.

3. Engrish.com
We also discussed this website which features amuzing translation mistakes in foreign adverts. There are som classics I must admit but I also have to say my Japanese isn't up to much so I have some simpathy.

4. Villain Of The Week - Austalian Beer Stealing Thugs
We had a couple of nominations this week for biggest villain. The first was the Thai taxi driver who stashed an accomplice in the boot of his car to steal things from peoples luggage as he took them to their destination. The police are calling this presumably small fella the "trunk man" so watch out.
We also had a dishonourable mention for FOX after they stole pictures of a photo bloggers dog and tried to pass them off as their own work during the holiday football program in the US.

Our winner by a long way though was the group of Australian thugs who beat a Grandfather to death on a beach after he confronted them for stealing drinks from his cooler. The group left and then returned later in greater numbers, hitting the man with the cricket bat he had been using to play on the beach. A truly discusting crime and hopefully they will be brought to .justice swiftly.

5. Hero Of The Week - Biiiigggg Pants!!!
I nominated Barron Hilton this week (that's his name not a title by the way), for donating his fortune to charity. He's Paris Hilton's grandad and apparently he doesn't believe his offspring deserve all the money from the hotel chain he worked to build up. Who could argue? He is donating 97% of his $2.6 billion fortune to charities that work in Africa. A noble deed I think

Our winner by some large margin though (pun intended) was the pair of pants which saved a family from a house fire in the North East of England recently. It seems a grease fire broke out in the kitchen and a quick thinking member of the family picked up the massive pants from the laundry basket and through them over the pan, extiguishing the blaze in the process. Hooray for big pants I say!!! :)
